With a yellow, golden, lucid color, especially fluid and with strong aromas of the orange blossom flowers, our Orange Blossom Honey is harvested in the orangeries of the Laconian land, in the Peloponnese.
Especially aromatic and rich in minerals and antioxidants, it has a unique taste that combines the refreshingly light citrus bitterness, balanced with slight orange sweetness.
Raw, unprocessed, unheated, and rich in pollen and propolis, this honey retains all its natural flavors and develops a fabulously rich texture. It is not pasteurized or fine-filtered, so slight traces of beeswax may be found in the jar, however producing a high level of anti-bacterial properties.
Our Orange Blossom Honey is great on anything from a slice of toasted bread, porridge, tea and cereal to a cold bowl of ice cream. Best cheese plate ever? We think so.
Generally crystallizes in one to three months. To decrystallize, place jar in hot water until it dissolves and honey is smooth.
