Our Wild Oak Honey is harvested in late summer from the forests of Central and Northern Greece, where bees forage on the secretions of oak trees — also known as the sacred tree of Zeus. This dark, richly complex honey reflects the unique biodiversity of the Greek mountains and the rhythm of nature itself.
Oak honey is not produced every year — it only appears in meaningful quantities every two years, when oaks bear acorns and produce the secretions bees need. This natural rarity makes it one of the most sought-after honeys in Greece.
Thick and robust, with molasses-like depth and a faint bitter edge, Wild Oak Honey is unlike any other. It is naturally high in beneficial plant compounds and minerals — especially iron — thanks to the rich, untouched forest environment in which it's harvested.
